This challenging project required the design of a 4,500 square foot addition in a small courtyard behind the existing historic library all located in a Historic District.  A Master Plan for redevelopment and renovations to the existing building was also prepared.  IDeA’s library furnishings and equipment experience was invaluable in fitting the maximum number of volumes and services within the small existing building.  Daylighting design techniques were utilized to the greatest extent.
