Kellie Dunaway
Intern Architect, Project Manager
In high school, Kellie decided that she needed a creative outlet in a technical career, and found that in Architecture. She first connected with IDeA through the University of Cincinnati’s co-op program and has gained experience in a variety of project phases, including in the field and day-to-day operations working with a team. Kellie is an advocate for gaining work experience while pursuing a degree in order to help determine your professional interests. She is currently pursuing her architectural license and volunteering with the School Zone Institute’s Architecture and Children program among other local AIA activities. Kellie is passionate about the ways that the built environment affects individuals inhabiting it, with a particular focus on the ways architecture influences children’s development and can improve the quality of life for elderly or those with special needs. What excites Kellie about architecture is the potential to impact every living being, both mentally and physically!
